The RAKFTZ Investor Residence Visa for 3 years is issued investors who have incorporated companies in the Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone. The number of investors who are eligible for RAKFTZ Investor Residence Visas for 3 years is dependent on the Company Ownership Type, the Type of License Issued and the Type of the Lease obtained from the RAKFTZ.

  • The visa holder should enter the UAE within 60 days of issue of the visa
  • The visa holder can stay in the UAE for a total of 3 years after which the visa can be renewed for subsequent 3-year periods.
  • Once the RAKFTZ Investor Residence Visa for 3 years has been stamped on the investor's passport, the investor should take care not to stay outside the UAE for more than 180 days at a time, in which case the visa will expire.
